About Northwood Cabinets & Millwork, Lancaster WI
Who We Are
Who Are We?
Northwood Cabinets & Millwork is a Lancaster, Wisconsin installation company run by owner Joshua Smethurst. We do one thing and do it carefully: we install the interior finish work that people see and touch every day, from kitchen cabinets and countertops to trim, crown molding, baseboard and doors.
We don’t sell cabinets and we don’t do general remodeling. You choose the products from the supplier you like, whether that’s a home center, a kitchen dealer or a cabinet shop, and we make sure they go in level, square and finished. Homeowners hire us directly, and builders and remodeling contractors bring us in when they want the finish work done right.
Every job starts with a free estimate and a flat rate price, and every installation comes with a 1 year warranty.

About Northwood Cabinets & Millwork
Your Go To Cabinet & Trim Installers
Good cabinets and trim can look bad if they’re installed poorly. Older homes in Southwest Wisconsin have floors that slope, walls that bow and ceilings that dip, and the installer’s job is to make the finished work look straight anyway. We shim, scribe, cope and adjust until it does.
Expert Cabinet, Trim & Door Installation for Homes and Businesses
In homes, we install kitchen and bathroom cabinets, laminate countertops, interior doors, casing, crown molding and baseboard, and we refinish or replace worn trim and cabinets. For builders, remodelers and business owners, we handle the cabinet and finish carpentry scope on new homes, rentals, offices and shops. Same care either way.
Why Customers Choose Northwood Cabinets & Millwork
Customers choose us because we sweat the details: doors and drawers lined up across a run of cabinets, nail holes filled, miters closed, and caulk lines kept clean. We’d rather take the extra time than leave a gap you’ll notice every day.
We also work with you. If the layout needs a change once the cabinets are on site, or a trim profile doesn’t look right in the room, we talk it through and find a solution together.
The Northwood Cabinets & Millwork Quality Guarantee
Every installation comes with a 1 year warranty. If something we installed isn’t right within that year, call us and we’ll come back and make it right.
